Children's Program

Children who attend Jacob's Creek spend part of each morning in activity groups for their different age levels. (See the Daily Schedule for more details.)

The tiniest babies travel with an adult family member.

Children from age 2 up through high school participate in religion-based lessons and activities, have snack break, and then enjoy recreational activities until noon. Each age group has two adult leaders for the children's safety during both the lessons and the recreation time.

A schedule of children's age groups and which adults are responsible for them will be emailed out a few weeks before the retreat, in July. It's called the Children's Teaching Schedule.

Leaders don't miss out on the adult lecture, because they are scheduled for only one half of the morning, and each lecture is repeated.

At noon, families meet up at the Solarhouse to get ready for lunch, and choose fun free-time possibilities for the afternoon.
