Adult Lectures and Electives

Adults at Jacob's Creek have the opportunity to attend a series of three lectures given by the pastors on staff. One lecture happens each morning, and each is repeated later in the morning for those who were teaching the children's classes. All of the lectures are accompanied by times for small-group discussion.

In addition, for the eager attendee, there are electives on a variety of topics. These can range from New Church Day celebrations in different church societies to a panel discussion on life in the spiritual world. Most years someone organizes a choir, or a hiking group, or a volleyball tournament, and so on.

This year our subject is faith, and why it's central to our lives. A list of the new lectures and electives for 2025 will be coming in late June, along with suggested doctrinal readings for each one.

A life of faith is to be learned and lived.

 Coming in June
